I have been working on more web site stuff.. It seems that you just keep learning more every time your turn the page. This time it's e-commerce web sites. They are everywhere, you know, click "add to cart" and "continue shopping".. Well, there is more to it than just clicking those buttons. Try setting one up and you will quickly find out just how complicated they can be. I don't know which one I am useing is better, so I am attempting to learn the top 3.In my book that is Drupal e-commerce, Ubercart and ZenCart. I like the Open Source stuff, because you can dig through the files and change it around the way you want. I didn't say that makes it easier, just more interesting. We will see how that turns out. I think it may be time to get my test server fired up.

The boaters have been out on the Lake, I know because I can hear the boats running on the weekends. I don't have any boats in the water this year because there isn't any money to mess with them. But that's ok, it has saved me from lots of work. I don't even know what gas costs these days.. haven't bought any for months. I think my car has maybe 30 miles on for the year so far. I thought about buying a license for my little row boat, but I don't want to give any money to the State of Ohio, they are so irresponsible with money. And now the hypocrite Governor wants to expand gambling, He is an ASS. You still don't hear him talking about stopping corruption and needless spending-- when will those people get their act together-- I hope they go broke.

I am making a boat cover for a 33 foot bayliner right now.. It is one heavy cover, makes my back hurt to lift it. I wish people would listen when I tell them to use a light weight fabric. Of coarse it's a full cover with full drop sides and even goes over the radar arch.
It's about 9am, just got up, and the sun is drying the cover after last nites rain-- time to get workin...

I just have to post every once in a while, I do miss my B2evo blog every now and then. But I do have 6 blogs that get posted to regularly, and I take care of 14 or 15 web sites on a regular basis. I guess this one just doesn't get the traffic the others do. I am getting much better at typing and my spelling is improving in a huge way.

I have been busy learning how to live with No Money.. These days, that's exactly the way it has been..No Money, which means NO BOATING, No travel other than 1 mile to the corner store and do nothing but stay home and work on the computer. I don't entertain at all because there is just no money.

I do get some boat covers to make from time to time, but I am getting to the point where I hate even looking at a boat. If you enjoy something, don't ever do it for a living or you will grow to despise it. Catch 22. For that reason, I no longer will work on boats for friends and only do canvas work(covers, tops, enclosures), hopefully by reducing all the extra crap I used to do will revive my love of boating and working on my own boats.

But I have to say, I am getting sick of the FREE TRADE economy. I don't like rice that much. I wish the dam anti-American government would change their policies so America can be a country again. I am tired of writing letters to those communist bastards(politicians).

But some good from all things that completely suck. I have been learning loads of cool stuff about the Drupal CMS system.. I had no idea it would turn into a full time occupation, but it has. And I have only just begun to get into it. That may seem odd after a year working with the system every day. But that's the plain truth of it. Heck, just sorting through the 2000 modules is a full time job. I am amazed at how much I have learned and how much I have yet to learn. Many days, I get so brain dead, I just crash at the computer desk and don't even know it till I wake up 4 hours later that I am still at the desk.. lol..

I am still working on the Buckeye Lake web site and it has turned into a second full time job. That's the price you have to pay to have lots of features and always add more,, constantly. And still have many things I would like to get going on as time and knowledge permits.. Can you say DRUPAL.. lol. I know the word all to well at this point. Drupal blows everything away that you have ever known about a cms system. Don't even try to work with Drupal unless you are a developer, you will just get frustrated and give up. You have been warned..

I have just started on twitter out of the need to be current with technology and keep sites up to date with all that stuff.. I think it's kinda stupid.. The whole tweet thing..I would rather write more than just 140 characters.. But at least I don't have a pocket phone.

Thats all folks!! Catch me on www.BuckeyeLake.org , seems to be my new home, and www.DaveBeall.com , my test zone. When i get time and more smarts i will be into Apache servers more,, a whole different world.

I just received an email with a link to eventpix web site that has Bret and Amy's wedding photos on it.
I have sent a letter to the eventpix web site explaining to them how to make their site more professional and usable, but I doubt that they will make any changes.

:lalala: This makes 2 weddings gone by in this family with no photos to show for them..

I will remind everyone in this family that we have a very advanced photo gallery on this web site that is completely free and has many features that are family and visitor friendly.

We are running Gallery2, it is even more advanced than Flicker and many other photo web sites available for any family member and their friends as well. We have 200 Gigabytes of disc space for photos, that equals at least 100,000 full sized photos and has a place for a description of each one --if needed--. The galleries can be password protected as are many of the family albums to date. The galleries can be set to public or can be password protected. For special events, the galleries can be accessed with a password that can be sent to a mailing list for sharing without an account on the site. The list of features and options for Gallery2 are endless and can be customized for any purpose, event or use.

The photos can be downloaded one at a time, or you can download a whole gallery with one click of your mouse in the form of a zip file. If you don't want the whole gallery, then you can view pages of photos and add the ones you want to your download with the click of your mouse...very easy. Or Just view the gallery here on the site anytime. You can also link any photo or gallery to an email or blog as well.

Features? plenty: I do not have it turned on, but you can order prints right from the gallery and have them sent to your house.

You can request a disc with the photos you want for people without a good internet connection. I provide this for everyone at no cost and will send the disc in the mail, takes a few days for the mail. The same goes for putting photos in the gallery, send me the disc or zip file and I will putt them up within 24 hours. I can also receive photos in an email and putt them up..

I said the features were endless... You can also upload from your computer without even being on the beallgroup web site. That technology is called publish-to-web, and I will be happy to walk you through the one time set up. Or sign-in to the gallery and follow the instructions in the upload area for installing publish-to-web.

On top of that, I am available to provide any help necessary for anyone that is having trouble navigating or using the Gallery.

I hope that everyone will take advantage of the advanced and user friendly features we have on this site. :D

Well, It's that time of year to try and jump start this dead canvas shop. I hope there is some canvas work this spring... sure could use a few good paying jobs right now. I do see a few signs of spring coming because I am starting to get a few calls for cover repairs and just had an upholstery job show up on a pontoon. Wish it happened 2 months ago after virtually no work for months now.

I just wonder when the Anti-American congressman and senators are going to fix all their HUGE screw-ups...such as their free trade Corporate protectionist policies. These ignorant Anti-American politicians should all be in prison for life. Their crime? The betrayal of America and all or most of it's people. Of coarse the Filthy Rich Corporations have been soaking up the cash from this country with NO rules in sight, Thanks to their pay off of congressman and senators.

Make no mistake about the condition of our country is directly the fault of those traitors in Washington DC. We should send them all to prison or deport them all to China with no passports available, ever. If they love China so much, force them to go live there.

Every one of those bank CEO's, Wall street crooks, and investment scammers should get mandatory prison sentences-- LIFE with NO PAROLE, EVER.

Do I sound very pissed off.. You bet your ass I am, and so should every American Citizen. But Americans don't care about their own country. They have sat by, doing absolutely nothing for the last 10 years. Just let it all go to straight to hell...

Every time I think I should make a blog post, I have other stuff that takes my tine elsewhere.

I am still workin on the buckeye lake site and we are starting to get some members. Just as I have been fixing issues with the Buckeye Lake project, I had to do another website for a boating friend. Check it out Reflective Window Cleaning, I don't think this is one mac friendly. I wish I had a mac, just to check web pages with.

Since I am plugging my work..might as well list a few more.

This is the week that Amy and Brett are getting married on the beach in Florida. Good luck and congrats to them for the big move!
